Yanbian Funde dropped a sorry 2-4 loss to former cellar-dwellers Hangzhou Greentown during their most game on Sunday also at their home stadium in Yanji, Football Australia reported.

Socceroo goalscorer Tim Cahill scored the first goal of the match right at the fifth minute and he was followed by teammates Huang Xiyang and Denilson Gabionetta at the 15th and 19th as the visitors quickly built a 3-0 lead.

South Korean winger Yoon Bit-garam cut the lead down to two at the 36th, but Hangzhou's Tan Yang scored a goal right at the stroke of halftime to make it 4-1 at the break. Gambian midfielder Bubacarr Trawally then netted a goal two minutes before full time to finalize the count at 4-2.

It was the fourth winless performance of Park Tae-ha's squad in their last five outings as they dropped to the 12th spot of the league table, only three points away from the bottom two relegation area.

Meanwhile, Shanghai Shenhua successfully redeemed themselves from their previous controversial loss to Beijing Guoan by crushing Changchun Yatai, 3-0, at their home ground of Hongkou Stadium also on Sunday, as per Shanghai Daily.

Following a goalless first half, Li Jianbin, Demba Ba, and Obafemi Martins each scored a goal in the second half of the match while their defense held on to complete their side's clean sheet and three-goal haul in the contest.

Gregorio Manzano's team is currently settled at fifth place in the overall standings after being undefeated in eight of their last nine assignments in the China top flight.

The predicted result is a 3-1 win for Shanghai Shenhua.
