By 2 p.m. on August 21st, Meng Fei's first micro blogs to lash into CAAC's regulators has been forwarded for more than ten thousand times, and has been commented for around 3,800 times.
In Meng Fei's first Weibo, he wrote: "In order to corporate with the practice and education activity of our Party, I want to make a suggestion to CAAC. Can you cancel the priority for flight of CAAC's head Li Jiaxiang? In this way, he can understand our passengers' feelings when suffering extensive air flight delays."
Later, Meng Fei forwarded a weibo of People's Daily and commented: "If those officials can not put themselves in someone else's shoes, then they should step down from their posts, or they will never understand power derives from people!"
Meng Fei quoted a set of data from Beijing News. The figures shows 74.83% of a total of 2.5 million flights left on time in 2012, down from 82.65% in 2008 when Li Jiaxiang took office, which means the delays have affected tens of millions of passengers travelled by air last year.
As for this, Meng Fei asked: "If the reported data is correct and reliable, does it mean after Director Li took office, the number of on-schedule flights has been dropped constantly? Does it mean the bad weather only accounts for 21% of all the flight delays? Above all, our passengers can't see any signs of improvement. Shouldn't you bow and apologize to passengers and your own staff before you resign?" Soon, many Chinese netizens show their supports for Meng Fei's sense of justice.
