Recently, Madame Tussauds Hong Kong released a short video clip featuring the Miss A member in preparing for the creation of her wax figure, which would be on display at the world-renowned museum.
Bae is the first female Korean celebrity who would be featured in the wax museum. The finished wax version of Bae is scheduled to be unveiled early next month.
In the clip that was released by Madame Tussauds Hong Kong, the idol-actress is seen choosing fake eyes for her waxwork while being assisted by British experts. The famous female idol's face and body were measured to ensure the accurate representation of the waxwork. Bae reportedly also had a handprint made for the wax model.
Sources state that Bae will be following the footsteps of her boyfriend, "The Heirs" actor Lee Min Ho, whose waxwork was unveiled in Hong Kong in January 2014. The actor also has a wax figure made in his likeness at the Beijing branch of the museum.
Other recent wax works of famous K-Pop idols include that of former EXO members Lu Han and Kris Wu. Wu's wax figure was included in the Madame Tussauds Shanghai exhibit while Lu Han's waxwork is on display at the Beijing branch.
