Four-time NBA scoring champion Kevin Durant mixed up with youngsters in Hong Kong as part of his Greater China Tour to showcase his signature basketball shoes.
The 2014 Most Valuable Player of the most popular professional basketball league in the world amazed a full-house crowd on Tuesday evening at the Nike Rise Academy basketball clinic in the former British colony. Durant, who ran basketball drills with the selected 24 teenage players, is also scheduled to hold more basketball clinics in Guangzhou and Taipei.

According to SFGate, Durant, a seven-time NBA All-Star, has been the most popular basketball player in China for five years running. The highly decorated basketball superstar is on tour as an ambassador for the Nike.
Nike, the leading athletic shoe maker in the world, recently released out the latest incarnation of the NBA superstar's signature shoe, the KD9. The next two versions to be released will be the KD9 'Unlimited' and the KD9 'Birds of Paradise' on August 4th and August 19th, respectively.
Durant, who signed a two-year USD 54 million deal to play with the Golden State Warriors last week, made headlines in the world of sports as he chases his dream of an NBA championship ring.
"I want to win a championship, but you've got to play great basketball to win a championship," Durant said, ESPN reported. "Those guys were so close last year, so they're hungry this year to get back. I want to help them. I want to be the guy that takes them over the top."
The five-time All-NBA First Team member left the 2016 Western Conference finalist Oklahoma City Thunders and his long-time running mate Russell Westbrook. The Thunders lost to Golden State after leading the series with a commanding 3-1 lead, with the Warriors winning three straight games.
