League leaders Shaanxi Xinda Wolves strengthened their hold of the top of the table by crushing the tenth-ranked Hunan Yongsheng with a dominating 102-78 victory in the 20^th round of the Chinese National Basketball League (NBL) on Wednesday in Changsha.

Shaanxi shares the No.1 spot with Anhui, who got the better of the Jiangsu Hualan with a 119-101 triumph. Both teams have an 18-2 win-loss record apiece.

According to Asia-Basket, American power-forward Tyler Wilkerson led Shaanxi with an outstanding double-double production of game-highs 32 points and 16 rebounds along with two assists and two steals in just 33 minutes on the court.  He went 13 for 20 from the field including five three-pointers from beyond the arc.

American power-forward James Mays also had a double-double performance of 18 points and 20 boards while local players Jiguang Bi and Xinyue Shi contributed 16 points and 13 points respectively for Shaanxi. Shaanxi will face Beijing Dongfan in the next round on Friday.

Shaanxi also won the battle for the rebounds, edging the opposing team with a 52-41 including a 37-29 advantage in the defensive boards.

Foreign basketball reinforcement Daniel Orton paced Hunan with 19 points and 12 rebounds while local players Yaosheng Zhang and JiMing Jin had a combined 29 points. It was the club's 11^th loss in the 20 matches they have played this season. Hunan will be facing Hebei Xianglan on Friday.

According to NowGoal, the winning team capped the first 24 minutes of the match with a 16-point lead 54-38 as both squads headed to their respective locker rooms. Shaanxi was able to further extend their lead to a comfortable 26-point advantage with a 27-17 outburst in the third frame of the game.
