Chinese beauty blogger Xu Ji has surprised netizens after confessing about her insecurities regarding her physical appearance in a YouTube video. Xu, known to many fans as "Honey," is a famous beautician and many rely on her advice and tips to improve their appearance.

In the video posted on the website of Stateless Media, the vlogger (video blogger) talked about how seeing her imperfections in the mirror made her feel sad and jealous for some time. She said that she used to dream of having the features of Westerners.

Xu said that she later realized that since she could not do anything about her appearance, she could enhance it. This was when she started giving tips and suggestions online about beauty trends appropriate for Asians.

Initially, Xu only targeted people of Asian descent with he beauty tips. Eventually, her audience eventually grew in scope.
