Shaanxi Xinda Wolves Overpower Beijing Dongfan in 21st Round of Chinese National Basketball League

The league's blue-chip team Shaanxi Xinda Wolves strengthened its hold on the top of the team standing after crushing Beijing Dongfan with an imposing 126-93 victory in the 21st round of the Chinese National Basketball League (NBL) on Friday evening.
With the win, the Wolves continues to be in contention for the No. 1 spot in the league's table. Shaanxi shares that position with Anhui, with a 19-2 win-loss record each.

According to Asia-Basket, Former Austin Toros player Tyler Wilkerson led Shaanxi with a game-high 43 points and nine boards along with five assists and three steals in 41 minutes of playing. The American power-forward went 16 for 31 from the field including four three-pointers from beyond the arc.
Former Clemson University Tigers player James Mays was a steal short of a triple-double game performance of 40 points, 17 rebounds, and nine steals. Domestic players JianJun Qi had 16 points while XiaoHang Yu and Jiguang Bi chipped in 14 points for Shaanxi.
Shaanxi also won the battle for the rebounds, edging the opposing team with a 46-36 including a 20-10 advantage in the defensive boards. Beijing committed 25 turnovers while the Wolves have 18.
Ater Majok paced Beijing with team-highs 28 points and 14 rebounds while fellow foreign reinforcement Emanuel Jones had 28 points. Beijing will be playing Louyang in the 22nd round. No local players scored double figures for Beijing.
According to NowGoal, the winning team dominated the entire match. Shaanxi won all the four quarters of the game 22-21, 43-21, 34-28, 27-23.
