Last season's China League One champions Yanbian Funde FC routed powerhouse team Jiangsu Suning FC, 3-0, at their home turf of Yanji Nationwide Fitness Centre Stadium last Saturday in a round 18 match of the 2016 Chinese Super League season.
It was the second consecutive victory for the newly-promoted squad in the China top flight and also their fourth unbeaten performance in the last four games. Funde's undefeated streak began last month during a 1-1 draw with defending champions and current league leaders Guangzhou Evergrande.

South Korean striker Kim Seung-dae opened the scoring at the 49th minute for manager Park Tae-ha's boys following a goalless first half for both squads. Import Bubacarr Trawally then doubled the lead at the 68th as the Gambian winger converted defender Cui Min's pass before substitute attacking midfielder Akbar Ahmetjan sealed the win at the 77th off an assist from Kim to complete Yanbian's three-goal haul.
Funde was "more aggressive in attack" during the match as compared to their highly favored counterparts, as per CCTV English, but Suning has been playing at less than their top strength as of late with Brazilian import Ramires suspended for four matches.
The former Chelsea midfielder was given the heavy penalty in the aftermath of his furious reaction following a red card booking during their 1-2 loss to surging team Shandong Luneng on July 9.
The 29-year-old was sent off right at the full time of the match, but instead of walking off the pitch as instructed, he attempted to attack referee Zhang Long. His teammates were able to restrain him, but the damage was already done and the Chinese Football Association had decided to hand down the punishment, the Daily Mirror reported.
Jiangsu had played with only one import, Brazilian winger Alex Teixeira, against Yanbian in this match as striker Jô had recently transferred to Serbian team Red Star Belgrade while attacking midfielder Sammir was loaned to Hangzhou Greentown following the departure of Tim Cahill back to Australia.
Defender Trent Sainsbury is currently being rested by head coach Choi Yong-soo while the team signed Colombian forward Roger Martínez and South Korean defender Hong Jeong-ho to replace Jô and Sammir.
