The victim is said to be 58 years old and was not identified by name. She reportedly arrived in the U.S. on a visa in March.
As per the complaint, the old woman had to work 18 hours a day to cook, clean and take care of Huang's children. She was to be $1.80 per hour but did not receive any of the money.
The victim was found wandering in the streets on Thursday by the police. When taken to a hospital, she was found to have had many broken bones. Her weight also dropped as she initially weighed 120 pounds when she arrived in the U.S. but now weighs only 80 pounds. She is said to have been fed only with crackers for her meals, Inquisitr reported.
The victim was also banned from leaving Huang's home. She reportedly fled after Huang threatened to kill her using a knife. She told the police that when she was found wandering the streets, she was looking for the airport to go home to China.
A bag was also found under the victim's mattress containing her hair. Huang allegedly ripped it from the older woman's head, and the latter kept it so the former will not feed it to her.
