Former "Roseanne" star and "The Talk" host Sara Gilbert is pregnant and, her wife, rocker Linda Perry couldn't be happier.

The actress announced the news on "The Talk" during the show's fifth season premiere last Monday. 

During the "Dare Ya" segment of the show, where the hosts do things they fear, Gilbert refused to do the dare given to her. The said dare involved lying down on a bed of nails, while someone smashes a cinder block on top of her stomach with a big hammer.

Gilbert shared that when she found out about the dare, she was scared to do it. She started tearing up as she said, "I really do believe in facing your fears and doing things that make you uncomfortable, but I actually can't do the dare because I'm pregnant."

The audience and her other co-hosts went wild. Aisha Tyler, whose height was almost a foot more than the tiny Gilbert picker her up in joy.

People cheered her name as Julie Chen stated, "We're having a baby at 'The Talk. I feel like all five of us are giving birth to this baby."

Although Perry was at the studio at the time, she didn't go onstage to join the celebration. However, the musician took to Twitter and posted, "I'm at @TheTalk_CBS watching my wife @THEsaragilbert and she is sooooo beautiful so smart."

Gilbert and Perry have been together since 2011 and married in March of this year after three years of dating. This will be the couple's first baby.

The 39-year old actress has two children with former girlfriend, TV producer Ali Adler - 9-year old son, Levi, carried by Adler and 7-year old daughter Sawyer, carried by Gilbert. The two split in 2011 after being together for a decade.

Gilbert previously shared that her relationship with now-good pal and "Big Bang Theory" co-star, Johnny Galecki, made her realize that she was gay. She shared that when she had a big crush of the actor even before they started dating, but then making out with him always left her depressed.

"Johnny felt badly, I think, and started to take it personally and didn't understand what was going on. So I eventually told him that I thought it was about my sexuality, and he was super sweet about it," she shared.
