Chinese model and actress Angelbaby says she had been afraid of going to public restrooms in planes and in the countryside when she was filming her movie 'Hot Summer Days'.

Angelbaby has soared to fame after being signed by Style International when she was but 14 years old. She has then been successful as a model and also an actress.

The movie that shot her on-screen career to the top was 'Hot Summer Days' which was filmed back in 2010. The film made her very popular especially after it had been well-received by the public in mainland China.

Kim Chou, the director of Style International recalled the time when the then young model had to break out of her comfort zone in order to film the movie.

Angelbaby had to portray the role of a country bumpkin who works for a factory. The Chinese viewers liked her role in the movie and it has proven to be a box office hit when it was released.

The actress-model had to shoot her scenes in Beijing for a week. During that time, she had to get used to a different kind of lifestyle so as to get into the character she was playing.

The director of 'Hot Summer Days' wanted to make Angelbaby experience what it was like to live in the countryside, so she was brought to the site where they will be filming. The model-actress was also told that it was forbidden for her to use her cellphone during the seven-day filming duration.

It hasn't been a very comfortable experience for the actress as she had extreme fear of insects and dirty restrooms. It left her so afraid that even the restroom in planes didn't seem apt for the job to her. During the days they were filming at the location, Angelbaby never used the restroom and would wait until she gets back to the hotel she was staying at.

Despite these claims, Angelbaby described her experience as interesting. She said her experience was remarkable and it was what spurred her to pursue an acting career.
