(Photo : Facebook) It is unclear when the Huawei Mate 8 would hit the market.
It appears that Chinese tech giant Huawei will give its flagship Mate 8 device a massive 6.6-inch display, the smartphone would also support Quad-HD 2K resolution.
Huawei had resisted the call to switch from its conventional Full HD displays to the crispier and more vibrant Quad-HD 2K display panels. However, with the increased attention given to virtual reality, Huawei is finally entering the fray with its Mate 8 device.

A handful of new teasers from Huawei did not directly refer to upgrade, but it has a handful of indications pointing in that direction. Huawei released a couple of cryptic teasers that might hold clues regarding the specs of the upcoming Huawei Mate 8.
One of the teasers shows a notebook being torn in two pieces. Another is a ruler, again, being broken into two pieces. Whatever these cryptic teasers were meant to convey, only Huawei knows. There are rumors that these teasers hint that Huawei is up to something revolutionary, and the ripping of the notebook and breaking of the ruler could mean that the company is breaking from traditions.
A listing leaked from the Chinese regulatory agency TENAA revealed that there would be two versions of the Huawei Mate 8. One model sports a 3GB memory, 32GB storage space, a Kirin 950 chipset, and support for dual LTE. The premium model has 4GB of memory, 64GB of storage space, a Kirin 955 chipset, and a wider range of 4G LTE networks, according to Giz China.
The Huawei Mate 8 is expected to come with a 4,400mAh battery pack and the full metal chassis, according to ZDNet. With all these high-end specs in place, the tech community is curious as to how well the device will perform in the market.
