In a recent interview with the Toronto Star, Bill Murray revealed that more likely, he won't be making an appearance in the buzzed-about female-centric "Ghostobusters 3". However, he said he has a few suggestions on who he thinks would be great choices for the main cast.

Murray stated that he thinks his "St. Vincent" co-star, comedian Melissa McCarthy, would be a great addition to the cast. Aside from McCarthy, the actor also gave a few other names.

"Kristen Wiig is so funny -- God, she's funny! I like this girl Linda Cardellini ("Mad Men") a lot. And Emma Stone is funny. There are some funny girls out there," he shared.

Aside from giving his suggestions on who he thinks would be perfect as ghostbusters, he also shared that an all-female cast would be great, saying that they would probably have even better costumes.

"I'm fine with it [an all female-cast]. I would go to that movie, and they'd probably have better outfits, too," he joked.

After learning that Murray thought she would be a great addition to "Ghostbusters 3", McCarthy was honored but said that it would be an extremely daunting undertaking. "Oh, my God, that's daunting. That's taking on a legend, a legendary movie. But I would do anything with those ladies, anything at all," she replied.

Paul Feig, the director of "Bridesmaids" which also starred Wiig and McCarthy, is said to be in negotiations to direct the third installment of the "Ghotbusters" saga. "Ghostbusters" director Ivan Reitman agrees and believes that Feig will get the job.

According to Reitman, "I know that the studio is negotiating with Paul, and I think it's probably going to work out. There were always going to be women involved in the next iteration of 'Ghostbusters.' Paul seems to be the perfect director to sort of bring that about."
