9-year-old Girl’s Organs Save 5 People after She Died

The 9-year-old girl's name is Xiao Le. Her mother cried for three days after knowing her daughter would never come back. But her daughter lives in the world in another way, by donating her organs to others who need them. It is Xiao Le's dream and her mother helps her to achieve the dream.

The accident happened on 12th last month. Xiao Le drowned and was sent to the hospital immediately when she was found. She was in deep coma after the emergency rescue and died eventually. Her parents decided to sign a donation application for her, so her organ could be helpful after she passed away. When she was at school, Xiao Le once said she would want be a person who is useful to the society. "I want to be a helpful person for my country, for the society. I will help those who need assistance. If I found something valuable, I will return it to the owner. I would like to take care of the poor and offer them what I can as much as possible." This turns out to be the last words of Xiao Le. During this summer, the school gave students a post card and asked them to written down their dream. It is the post card that leads Xiao Le's parents to make such a decision.
After Xiao Le died, her parents told the hospital that they would like to donate Xiao Le's organs. The staff contacted the donation office. A specialist team came to the hospital at 8 p.m. that day, and conducted the initial assessment of Xiao Le's body and the status of the organs. They discussed the details with Xiao Le's parents. Her parents signed the informed consent and other associated documents. Three days later, Xiao Le's body was transferred to the local hospital center. "It would be great if my daughter's organ can be useful." Xiao Le's parents said
"She is the youngest donor in our district." The official said. Since 2011, there are nine organ donation cases, and 36 patients have benefited from the donations. Xiao Le is the ninth one, and the youngest donor.
