China Wildlife Park Tragedy: 1 Woman Dead, Another Injured After Being Attacked by Tigers [VIDEO]

A woman was mauled to death and another sustained injuries after being attacked by tigers at a wildlife park in Beijing on Saturday, July 23.
The Sydney Morning Herald reported that the two women were attacked after they got out of their vehicle while in the tiger enclosure of the zoo. A tiger pounced on the first woman her she got out of the car while touring the wildlife park identified as the Beijing Badaling Wildlife World. The other woman reportedly got out of the car to try to save the first woman when she was also attacked by another tiger. The second woman is the one who was mauled to death by the animal.

A CCTV footage of the incident shows as the first woman got out of the car. She exited was from the front passenger seat and shut her door. She had walked around to the driver's side of the car when the tiger pounced on her from behind.
According to the Daily Mail, the first woman was younger than the second woman. However, their ages and their identities have not been revealed. Both women apparently ignored repeated warnings to stay inside their vehicle. Aside from the two women, a child, and a man were inside the same car. The younger woman reportedly had an argument with the man before she stormed out of the vehicle. The man later tried to save both women while the child stayed inside the car.
They were rescued eventually by the staff of the wildlife park.
The Beijing Badaling Wildlife World is a 6,000-acre park. Visitors are allowed to drive on their own or join a tour. Officials at the park said that it has been closed temporarily due to the heavy rains and declined to comment on the deadly attack.
