Janice Man and Angelababy, once the best of friends and virtually inseparable, are now estranged from one another.

A few years ago, Janice Man and Angela were praised for their stick-together-through-thick-and-thin friendship. They were models who parlayed their fame into acting.

JM and Baby launched their careers in 2004 as pseudo models in separate agencies. While very close friends, the media pitted the two against each other, helping them build their fame. They eventually co-created the fashion line, Choice.

The BFF's relationship started to stale when they embarked on their respective film careers, with their friendship turning into a rivalry, Jayne Stars reported. The two became victims of nasty rumors, further widening the gap between them. JM was absent when Baby tied the knot with Huang Xiaoming in what was considered as Hong Kong's celebrity wedding of the century.

The strong bond between the two may have already broken up, but JM still thinks of her friendship with Angel as one of the best things that have happened in her life. "The misreporting by the media has really created many misunderstandings between us," JM told the Chinese media, Eastweek reported.

JM, nevertheless, accepts the fact that their friendship has gone through its natural course. "But no matter what," JM said. "I extremely cherish the memories I have with Baby," she continued. For her, Baby would always be in her heart and for that, she is thankful that she came into her life. "I have nothing to hide, and I will not care how other people write about me."
