OnePlus 3 Receives Latest OxygenOS 3.2.2 Update

OnePlus has launched another OxygenOS update for its latest flagship, OnePlus 3.

The Chinese start-up tech company is rolling out OxygenOS 3.2.2, which is still based on Android 6.0.1 and comes with several usability improvements to provide an overall better experience for OnePlus 3 users, 9To5Google reported. Users will be receiving OxygenOS 3.2.2 over-the-air (OTA) within the next few days. The update is available for the OnePlus 3 only.

OnePlus 3’s OxygenOS 3.2.2 update includes the following:

  • It has an improved notification management in doze.
  • The update addressed alert slider/silent mode issue.
  • It has disabled the fingerprint sensor while the device is in a pocket.
  • OxygenOS 3.2.2 adds NFC toggle t the quick settings.
  • The device will now have an improved noise cancellation feature for video recording.
  • It has updated 4K video recording codec.
  • It added latest security patches and various optimizations.

OnePlus 3 will now officially support the CyanogenMod 13, and nightly builds are now available for users to flash on their phones. However, there are still a couple of issues with the build in its current form. OnePlus has not given out a binary release, and Dash charge is currently not supported by the build.

OnePlus has also released a gold version of the OnePlus 3, according to Mashable. The latest version of the device went on sale on Tuesday in the U.S. and will arrive in Europe, Hong Kong and Canada on Aug. 1.
