Nine-year-old Xinxin gave birth to the twins on June 26. Xinxin was given to the city as a gift by the Chinese Government in 2014. The cute cubs are named Dabao and Xiaobao, which respectively mean “big treasure” and “small treasure” in English, The Telegraph reported. The twins weighed differently. Dabao weighs 135 grams, and Xiaobao is only 53.8 grams.

The one-month old cubs now have their parents’ black-and-white appearance. Their ears, eyes, arms, legs, and shoulders have turned black, and hairs have become thicker. Only the noses and faces remain pink.

According to the panda care team, the twin brothers can live outside the incubators now. Huang Wenjun, care team member and panda experts from China’s Chengdu Research Base, the twin cubs have been growing well and are in good health. Dabao and Xiaobao will soon grow primary teeth, start to listen and crawl. There is a possibility that they will live with their mother Xinxin for next one or two years.

According to Macao's Civic and Municipal Affairs Bureau, Xinxin and a male panda named Kaikai were chosen from Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding in southwest China's Sichuan Province to produce baby pandas.
