Chinese smartphone maker Vivo has announced that its latest flagship device - the Vivo V3 smartphone - has received a price cut in India by around Rs. 3,000 (approximately $44.98). The smartphone was initially launched at Rs. 17,980 (around $269.61). However, during this promo, the device is now available for Rs. 14,980 (approximately $224.62).

The discounted Vivo V3 smartphone is available for purchase via online and retail outlets across India.

The Vivo V3 smartphone features a 5-inch HD (720 x 1280 pixels) display screen. The device is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 processor paired with 3 GB of RAM onboard. It comes with a massive 32GB internal memory storage, which can further be expanded up to 128GB via a dedicated microSD card.

The Vivo V3 smartphone sports a 13-megapixel main camera and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. The device runs on the Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system out of the box, along with the company's Funtouch OS 2.5. It is packed with a non-removable Li-Ion 2550 mAh capacity battery.

The connectivity options of the device include 2G / 3G / 4G LTE support, VoLTE, Bluetooth V4.1, GPS/A-GPS, microUSB V2.0, and a fingerprint scanner. It measures a body dimension of 143.6 x 71 x 7.5 mm and weighs 138 grams.

The Vivo V3 smartphone is now available in India for the price of Rs. 14,980 (approximately $224.62). It is available only in gold color.
