Contending teams Guangzhou R&F FC and Shanghai SIPG FC settled to a 3-3 draw in a 2016 Chinese Super League season match held at the Yuexiushan Stadium in Guangdong on Sunday.
The game was the second winless effort for the Blue Lions after newly-promoted side Yanbian Funde FC snapped their four-game winning run during the previous matchday.

Three different players scored for Guangzhou while Shanghai SIPG's local right winger Wu Lei unleashed a hat trick en route to the tied game.
Brazilian winger Renatinho opened the match's scoring at the 17th minute off an assist from newly-acquired midfielder Eran Zahavi from Israel, Xinhuanet reported.
It took only three minutes for SIPG's Wu to equalize the game, though, as he scored his first goal of the contest at the 20th from a brilliant cross by Ivorian import Jean Evrard Kouassi, putting the game in a 1-1 draw at the halftime break.
The Nanjing, Jiangsu native then doubled the lead five minutes into the restart with his second goal of the night, directing the pass of Brazilian striker Elkeson towards the net of goalkeeper Yan Junling to make it 2-1.
The hosts were not giving up as they found their own equalizer, this time at the 79th courtesy of a strike from local midfielder Wang Song.
Head coach Dragan Stojković's squad then gained the lead, 3-2, after Zahavi converted a penalty kick with only eight minutes left in the game before full time.
It looked like a bounce back win for the Blue Lions as the whistle was blown, but Wu netted his third goal of the match during stoppage time to salvage the draw and a share of the point in the overall standings for the Red Eagles, as per Shanghai Daily.
With the draw, SIPG dropped to fourth place in the current China top flight table while Guangzhou climbed to the sixth spot, five points behind the Massive, who are now in a triple tie on points with Shanghai Shenhua and Hebei China Fortune.
