On August 25th, Jiang Wen's agency disclosed that Jiang Wen would travel to Venice with his wife Zhou Yun today. However, because Jiang Wen's new film "Gone with the Bullets" is about to starting filming recently, in order not to delay the preparation of his new film, Jiang Wen brings his new film's choreographers who came from Broadway with him to go to Venice together. Jiang Wen wants to be one of the jury, but he wants to choreograph for his new film "Gone with the Bullets" at the same time.
It's unexpected that Jiang Wen accepted to be a member of the jury at the Venice Film Festival, since he has been busy preparing for his new film. But Jiang Wen said this year is the 70th anniversary for the Venice Film Festival. Besides, the international festival means a lot to Jiang Wen. So he promises he will join the jury no matter how busy he is. It's known the leading actors in Jiang Wen's film have begun rehearsing in China. The film's decoration crew, special effects crew and art crew are also continuing working. And director Jiang Wen will keep in touch with his partners by emails and videos when he is in Venice.
According to insiders, a choreography team from Broadway joined Jiang Wen's new film secretly two months ago. It is said director Jiang Wen will try to shoot a musical film this time. As for the news, Jiang Wen's agency also confirms that there will be indeed lots of singing and dancing elements in the new film.
