The Chinese national badminton team, headed by the two-time Olympic champion Lin Dan, arrived in the City of Rio de Janiero on Sunday ahead of the 2016 Summer Olympic Games badminton competition.
Rio Games will be Lin's fourth Olympic trip. Lin is gunning for a record three-consecutive Olympic men's singles gold medal, according to Xinhua.

"Right now I' m feeling relatively calm," Lin said. "But after I enter into the Olympic village, take out my racket and go to the competition venue, my mindset will be a bit different."
"I heard that other teams have started training there. We only have three days to get familiar with the venue and the space of field of play. The time is limited," he added.
Lin is currently the world No. 3 in the BWF's latest world rankings. He has won five World Championships and six All England Open Badminton Championships under his belt.
He is expected to face the reigning world No. 1 Lee Chong Wei of Malaysia, who he has defeated twice in the past two Olympic Games. The Malaysian badminton ace is aiming to notch the first-ever Olympic gold medal for his country to cement his legacy.
According to Sina, in last 2012 Summer Olympic Games that was held in London, the Asian giant made a clean sweep of the whole five gold medals in the badminton event. But this time in Rio, China is expected to encounter more difficulties as its top shuttlers are getting older and rivals from other participating countries are getting stronger.
