Alcatel Streak Smartphone now Available on Cricket Wireless for Only $29.99

United States-based wireless telecommunication service provider Cricket Wireless has announced that Alcatel's latest budget friendly device - the Alcatel Streak smartphone - is now available for purchase as a carrier for only $29.99.
Cricket Wireless is currently offering the Alcatel Streak smartphone with a low price tag along with a budget saver data plan. Consumers who purchase this device would have a variety data plans to choose from. Users can opt for a 2.5 GB of data Basic plan at $40 per month, a 5 GB of data Smart plan at $50 per month, a 10 GB of data Pro plan at $60 per month, and unlimited internet data for $70 per month.

The Alcatel Streak smartphone features a crisp 4.5-inch FWVGA display that offers 218 PPI of pixel density and supports 854 x 480 pixels resolution. The device is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor clocked at a speed of 1.1Ghz. It comes with 1GB of RAM onboard and an Adreno 304 Graphics processing unit under the hood.
The Alcatel Streak smartphone comes with a built-in 8GB internal storage, which can be expanded up to 32GB via a dedicated microSD card slot. The device sports a 5-megapixel main shooter with LED flash and can record at a video resolution up to 720p at 30 frames per second. On the front, it has a 2-megapixel camera for selfies and video chats.
The device runs on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system out of the box. It is backed by a 1780 mAh capacity battery inside. According to Alcatel, on the battery saver mode, the device can give a talk time of up to 6 hours and a standby time up to 180 hours. The device measures a body dimension of 132.2 x 65.1 x 10.01 mm and weighs 136 grams.
