Two Indianapolis cops face felony charges after allegedly beating a man in a southern-side bar after the victim reportedly argued with the pregnant bartender.
On the evening of August 7, John Serban and Michael Reiger were off-duty and had been drinking shots with the female bartender when 29-year-old Bradford Bohanon, who was described as drunk and belligerent, interrupted them.

Bohanon was then asked to leave the pub, but refused to do so. The officers then reportedly confronted the man, with one officer showing his badge and asking him again to leave the place.
However, Bohanon, dubbed as 'obnoxious' by the female bartender, took the badge and threw it across the room. This move ignited a physical brawl among the men.
According to court documents, Serban put Bohanon on a chokehold for one whole minute and dragged him around 47 feet from the bar.
A footage from the bar's surveillance camera purportedly showed how the police officers continued beating the already-unconscious man who had been lying face-down on the ground.
A bar employee told investigators that he saw one of the officers put his foot in Bohanon's face and grinded it into the pavement "like you're putting out a cigarette".
Afterwards, the two reportedly returned to the bar to finish their drinks without calling for medical assistance or an on-duty colleague to take care of Bohanon.
"They carried it to a whole new level, a level of brutality," the 29-year-old bar patron stated. He also shared his shock by how the officers, who were supposed to be protecting the people, had handled the situation.
After the incident, Bohanon reported that he was missing his Oakley sunglasses and $180.
He also sought treatment from the VA Hospital several days after the incident, where he was diagnosed of having hemorrhage in one of his eyes, marks of strangulation, road rash, and a footprint embedded on his face.
"We would not expect any citizen to conduct themselves in this way or to escalate an unfortunate confrontation with an intoxicated person. For trained police officers to overreact is unacceptable," Marion County Prosecutor Terry Curry said in a statement, adding that the two officers showed lack of judgment.
Both officers have been suspended without pay while further investigations are being made. The two may face possible termination.
