Floyd Mayweather Jr.'s Saturday rematch with Marcos Maidana might be the first of his final three bouts.
The Ring Magazine's number one pound-for-pound fighter has announced his plans to retire in September 2015, in conclusion to the end of his six-fight Showtime/CBS contract

"I only got two more fights left (after Saturday) and after the next two fights I just want to build the Mayweather Promotions brand," Mayweather told reporters in Las Vegas last Tuesday." Every day, you don't feel the same, but as of right now my focus is Maidana. I can't focus on the other two fights after that. I have to focus on Maidana as of right now. After that, we can't say who the next two [opponents] are going to be. I'm pretty sure the next two are going to be more exciting fights."
The unbeaten boxer usually fights in May and September. Money expects to have his last two bouts in the same months next year.
"My next fight is in May and my last fight is in September. A year from now will be my last fight."
Mayweather has also expressed his desire to stay in the boxing scene as a promoter.
"I'll still work with my stable of fighters, still build the Mayweather Promotions brand. We have young fighters that we work with."
Mayweather is yet to reveal if he and fellow welterweight title holder Manny Pacquiao will have their much-awaited showdown.
Efforts have been made to arrange a Mayweather and Pacquiao fight. Pacquaio's promoter, Bob Arum has said that there are ongoing talks between HBO, who has the Filipino boxer under contract, and Showtime, for whom Money fights exclusively.
However, Mayweather said that there is no truth in Arum's claims.
"Not true," said Mayweather. "I can't say what the future holds, but Arum and Pacquiao is trying to sell tickets for the guy named (Chris) Algieri. Trying to sell tickets for that fight. I don't know where they fighting, I don't know anything about what Top Rank is doing."
