GTA 5 PC and New Patriot Day DLC for GTA Online Release Dates Near, Testers Play PC Version

GTA V

GTA V may be available on PC soon, according to Steam's Database that showed two game testers playing the PC version of the Grand Theft Auto 5 this month.

The two game testers were said to have played the GTA V PC version on Sept. 6 for about five to six hours. This step could mean the game is almost ready for the platform and hopefully, available before this December.

Last month, rumors were the game wasn't coming to the PC at all after a Rockstar marketing director said the studio wasn't interested in developing a PC version. Rockstar didn't deny or confirm this but 4chan users demanded the game developer create the version and hacked the director's website after the statement.

While Rockstar announced that GTA V would be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC in June, it hasn't revealed any information about its release and launch dates. The most talked about release date is Nov. 14 after this date appeared on UK shopping website Coolshop.com and Amazon Germany in August.

Meanwhile, the widely anticipated GTA Online Heist is said to have been indefinitely pushed back by Rockstar for unknown reasons.

YouTube tipser DomisLive speculated the DLC release dates could be in September based on the game developer's history of releasing big updates on national holidays or festive events.

The Patriot Day DLC could be rolled out on Sept. 11 to celebrate historical battles such as Concord and Lexington.

Rockstar could also release new clothing including official army uniforms and new military vehicles. Highly probable release dates include Sept. 16, 23 and 30.
