Anhui Wenyi successfully followed up their impressive victory in the second game of their best-of-five series by edging Henan Shedian Laojiu in Game 3 of their semifinals showdown with a 108-105 triumph on Friday to move one game closer to advancing to the championship round.

Anhui, which lost the series opener, now has a commanding 2-1 advantage, leaving Henan on the brink of elimination. Another victory for Anhui would mean the end of the season for Henan.

According to Asia-Basket, former NBA player Manny Harris led the winning team with a remarkable performance of 33 points, and nine rebounds along with seven assists, two steals and one blocked shot. The American swingman went 12 for 24 from the field and made 8 of 10 from the free-throw line in 48 minutes of playing time.

Chris Singleton finished the game with another double-double game production of 20 markers and 12 boards while Chinese player Yangsong Ma contributed 18 points and six rebounds. Yonggang Zhang and Jian Li contributed 14 points and 12 points respectively.

According to EuroBasket, Anhui's three-point shooting gave the team the edge in the match as they connected better from beyond the arc compared to the opposing team.  The winners hit 11 of the 27 attempts the team released from the three-point marker while Henan just made 8 of 25.

Anhui also had more assists than the losing side having a 15-9 advantage. The winning team's reserve players contributed a total of 27 points while Henan got jut 17 points from its bench.
