Chinese smartphone manufacturer Elephone has revealed more specs of its upcoming device; the Elephone S7. Despite revealing some information about the S7, Elephone is yet to confirm the official release date of the device. There are speculations, however, that the device would be released in September.

So far, Elephone has confirmed a handful of specs of the S7. The smartphone is expected to sport a 5.5-inch bezel-less display with a 1920 x 1080 resolution. Powering the device is the MediaTek Helio X20 chipset with 3GB of memory and 32GB of storage space.

On the front panel of the Elephone S7 is where the fingerprint scanner is installed. In terms of its camera specs, the phone is expected to have a 16-megapixel rear shooter and an 8-megapixel front shooter.

There are rumors that the Elephone S7 will be released in two different version depending on its hardware, although the exact configuration are yet to be officially announced. Standard specs like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS are also expected to be included in both configurations.

The Elephone S7 is expected to support dual SIM configuration and run on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow mobile operating system. The smartphone is likely to support 2G, 3G, and 4G LTE networks.

There are rumors claiming that the entry-level model of the Elephone S7 would have a price tag of about $99.99, according to Giz China.
