"Inspector Gourmet," the new television series starring Kenneth Ma among others, will start airing on Aug. 29, and would follow a comedic plot surrounding odd investigators on their adventure to solve cases, IHKTV reported.

The action series "A Fist Within Four Walls" is nearing its end and, according to reports, its timeslot will be replaced by "Inspector Gourmet," which was produced by Leung Choi Yuen.

"Inspector Gourmet" will be released on Aug. 29, according to Jaynestars, and will include Kenneth Ma, Priscilla Wong, Louis Yuen and Elvina Kong in its cast lineup.

Ma reportedly plays the role of a seafood restaurant chef named Yeung Tak Kei, who stumbles upon an "embarrassing secret" his employer keeps. His character would lose his job after he spreads the information and becomes a private sleuth for his sister Chu Sau Na, played by Kong.

Yen, on the other hand, is said to play Mak Sai, a food critic that Sau Na wants on her investigation force. However, he would only join the force if Tak Kei cooks him special dishes. Eventually, the character would join the agency and would become close friends with Ma's character.

Wong joins in as a truck driver named Sam Oi Kiu, who will be included in the investigation agency. Together, the four detectives will solve odd cases happening in their city.

Other cast members include Jacqueline Wong and Oscar Leung, respectively playing the role of a dessert chef and her cowardly boyfriend. The detectives would come across Wong and Leung's characters which would reportedly lead to even more bizarre cases that would prove to be challenging to solve.

Eliza Sam in also included in the cast lineup, but it has not been specified what role she plays in "Inspector Gourmet."

The series will last twenty episodes and is expected to end on Sept. 18.
