The four slots for the semifinals of the FIBA World Cup have all been filled, as France upset Spain, while Serbia cruised past Brazil.
Right after beating the favored Greece national team, Serbia also knocked out Brazil, 84-56, to secure a spot in the semifinals, powering successively through heavy favorites in the tournament and in their respective game match-ups.

Milos Teodesic, the playmaker for the Serbs, helped engineer a 21-2 run in the first half. They kept their momentum in the second half, and didn't look back.
The Serbian's defense also limited Brazil to only 22 field goals out of 65 attempts.
While Brazil previously beat Serbia in the group stage, the Serbians outworked their opponents in the third quarter, allowing only 10 points to their 29.
It also didn't help Brazil out that Tiago Splitter and Marquinhos Vieira both got technical fouls for complaining.
Teodesic had 23 points and 12 rebounds, Bogdan Bogdanovic contributed 12 points, while Brazil's Varejao only had 12.
In other news, France pulled the biggest upset in international basketball history, as they defeated the unbeaten hosts Spain, 65-52.
Despite missing National Basketball Association (NBA) superstars, Tony Parker and Joakim Noah, the low-ranked French team put the pressure on Spain.
Vincent Collet, Head Coach of France, said that they needed to elevate their game with defense.
"They're too talented," he said. "When you play against a team better than you, your first goal is to slow them down."
The French team executed perfectly.
Pau Gasol, who up to this point was the most efficient player in the FIBA tournament, only shot for 17 points during the night. His superstar teammates - Ricky Rubio, Serge Ibaka, and brother Marc Gasol - combined for only 3 of 21 attempts the whole night.
The French team drove Spain over the edge. The last minutes saw the hosts crumple under the pressure, as they began complained when calls did not go their way and shot desperately.
The semifinals for the FIBA World Cup are set, with USA facing Lithuania, and France meeting Serbia.
