Blackview BV6000s Withstands Fire Test

Chinese smartphone manufacturer Blackview is known for its series of devices that can withstand even the most rugged of use. The company is once again pushing the boundaries of smartphone ruggedness and durability by setting one of its phones on fire.
In a video posted on video sharing website YouTube, Blackview tested the fireproofing feature of the BV6000s by setting it on fire several times. In the video, the smartphone is shown doused in gasoline and set on fire. Unsurprisingly, the Blackview BV6000s withstood the test and came out working fine.

Although the Blackview BV6000s is not a heavyweight when it comes to its specs, Blackview is cashing in on the phone's durability and ruggedness as its main selling factor.
According to Giz China, the Blackview BV6000s has a MediaTek MT6735A chipset with a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz and a Mali-T720 graphics processing unit. It has 2GB of memory, and 16GB of storage space. The smartphone has an 8-megapixel rear facing camera and a 2-megapixel front facing shooter for selfies.
The Blackview BV6000s scores an IP68 certification, meaning it is water proof, as well as bump and scratch resistant. Protecting the display is 5.5-inch display is a Corning Gorilla Glass 3, allowing the device to be operated even if the user is wearing gloves.
Other notable specs of the Blackview BV6000s is its massive 4500mAh battery pack which supports fast charging technology. It also supports 4G LTE network and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Blackview's personalized user interface.
