A shocking find greeted investigators scouring a Greenacres home in Florida for child pornography materials on Wednesday.
Around 50 frozen dead cats were found stashed inside 55-year-old Douglas Westcott's freezer at his house in Lake Worth while authorities were searching for evidence related to the child pornography charges against him.

Three counts of child pornography have been filed against Westcott, who was arrested on the same day the dead creatures were found inside four freezers.
Police immediately called animal investigators on scene at around 7:30 a.m., who then seized 30 to 35 live cats from the house. The animals were cited to be suffering from ailments including respiratory infections.
"The living conditions were not acceptable for the animals," Palm Beach County Animal Care and Control Spokersperson Dave Walesky told the Sun Sentinel. The agency took the animals not only because their owner has been detained, but also due to evidence that the creatures have been neglected.
Several neighbors gathered around the house watching the cats, both alive and dead, carried out of the house.
A neighbor noted the house to be dubbed by the community as "the cat house," while another said that the cats were all over the yard and had no idea how many there were.
Though officials have not exactly figured out why cat carcasses were stored in the freezers, they speculated on the possibility that Westcott cannot bear to part with the dead felines as investigators noted how he resisted in surrendering his cats.
According to Walesky, the 55-year-old Florida man wants his pets back and insisted on fighting for the animals' custody, in which the proceedings might take about a month.
Meanwhile, authorities have seized a personal computer from Westcott's home in relation to his child pornography case and declared that investigations are still underway.
However, it remains unclear whether he Walesky will face any animal-related charge as veterinarians are still trying to determine what exactly happened to the dead cats.
