Despite Alistair Overeem's recent loss to "Big" Ben Rothwell in the co-main event of the UFC Fight Night 50, UFC President Dana White says that he will have another fight in the octagon.

Overeem has lost three out of his last four fights. His losing streak began against Antonio "Bigfoot" Silva, who knocked out the cocky Dutch fighter in the third, after Overeem was dominating.

Next he faced Travis "Hoppa" Browne who was hurt early on with knees to the midsection. However, he battled back and sent Overeem several front kick's right up the middle, where one eventually found its mark and knocked him out.

He won his next fight against former UFC champion Frank Mir by decision, but got caught again with his fight with Rothwell.

The recurring story of these losses was the fact that Overeem was winning all those fights before they took a turn for the worse. Also, he had been the betting favorite for all those fights he lost.

These string of losses usually mean getting fired from the UFC. However, White argues for keeping Overeem, saying that he is still a top 10 ranked heavyweight fighter.

"We'll get him another fight," said White.

Overeem's fight against Rothwell was the first fight with his new fight camp, Greg Jackson Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

He joined a formidable stable of athletes like Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone, former opponents Browne and Mir, Clay "The Carpenter" Guida, and even the UFC light heavyweight champion, Jon Jones.

His time at the new camp showed in his recent fight, as he employed oblique kicks to the knee as made famous by Jones.

While most fighters - Rothwell included - call it a dirty tactic, this is just a few of the improvements Overeem has showed since training with a camp that he says in promos and videos, "fits him."

And it isn't hard seeing more successful fighters coming out of Jackson's camp in the UFC.
