The Communist Party of China has hit out at claims published by The Telegraph about the country being on its way to become the biggest Christian nation in the world, with many leaders fearing a powerful church could affect their ability to maintain power.

A recent study by the Boston Consulting Group says the US is poised to overtake China, Brazil, and other countries in terms of manufacturing because of the rising labor and energy costs.

A survey conducted by the Fudan University found that Shanghai residents born in the 1980s are reluctant to have a second baby. Among the respondents, 40% said one child is enough for them.

Urban patrol officer, Jiang Yifan, became an Internet sensation after he bought a Google Glass as a supplemental tool for his work. The 27-year-old officer used his own money to buy the device for gathering evidence while patrolling the streets of Jiangsu province.
