South Korea has announced its plan to enter the bidding process in hopes of hosting the 2023 Asian Cup, six decades after the country last hosted the event. The announcement comes in just days after China announced its intentions to also bid for the event.

Chinese Dakar Rally participant Guo Meiling, along with her co-pilot Liao Min, are currently under observation in a hospital following an accident during the first day of the rally. The Chinese driver careened off the race track and crashed into a group of nearby spectators injuring 10 people including four children and a pregnant woman.

Latest reports claim that Brazilian football club Corinthians have accepted a bid from Chinese football club Tianjin Songjiang for Alexandre Rodrigues da Silva, more commonly known as Alexandre Pato. The 26-year-old striker has one year left on his contract with Corinthians and the club has been quite busy auctioning him to clubs outside of Brazil before his contracts hits the expiration date.
