Malaysian Insurers Paid US $4.3 Million to Families of MH370 Passengers

A total of 14.2 million Malaysian ringgit, or around US $4.3 million, in compensation payouts have been paid to the families of the insured passengers of the missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 plane, the Life Insurance Association of Malaysia (LIAM) said.

China has responded positively to the call of the Malaysian government for the international community to participate in the follow-up search for the missing MH370 flight and to create an independent team that will thoroughly investigate the incident.
