Palmeiras head coach Cuca recently expressed his desire to return to China next season once again as a manager for any interested Chinese Super League squad.
Sportskeeda reported that the 53-year-old manager of the Brazilian Serie A squad has "revealed plans to return to a Chinese Super League football club next year", although he did not specifically name which team he is interested in joining.

The former Brazil international forward had managed CSL squad Shandong Luneng Taishan FC in the 2014 and 2015 season before joining the White and Green this year. He led Taishan Dui to win the 2014 Chinese FA Cup and 2015 Chinese FA Super Cup before he was sacked late last year.
Cuca had also led Shandong to a fourth place finish in 2014 with a win-loss-draw record of 12-6-12 and a strong third-place campaign in the 2015 season with an 18-7-5 slate, qualifying both time in the AFC Champions League tournament.
Despite his accomplishments, Cuca was replaced by fellow Brazilian mentor Mano Menezes in December of last year after the former was banned by the China Football Association for fighting with an assistant referee during a pressure-packed China top flight contest in June of that term.
However, his replacement was worse as Menezes failed to spearhead the squad past the bottom two of the CSL table during his tenure, forcing him to resign after only six months on the job. Former Bayern Munich champion coach Felix Magath took over in June and is the squad's current manager.
Cuca had been effective as Palmeiras head coach, leading the Big Green to the top of the Brazilian Serie A overall standings with 43 points and a record of 13-5-4 at the moment.
In a radio interview last Friday, Cuca admitted that he is planning to return to China next year after his current stint with Palmeiras, as per China.org.
"Yes, that's what we aim to do next year," Cuca said with regards to his goal of a China homecoming.
