Leaked information suggests that Xiaomi's highly anticipated device - the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 smartphone - could be unveiled later this month in China.

The information about the release date of the upcoming Xiaomi Mi Note smartphone was spotted on the popular Chinese website, Weibo. The leaked information from the Chinese social networking website suggests that the Mi Note 2 smartphone would be released on Sept. 14. However, another image of Weibo suggested that the device would be unveiled on Sept. 24.

This leaked information has not been confirmed by Xiaomi. The Mi Note 2 is expected to come in two variants. The first model will pack a Snapdragon 820 processor along with a massive 4GB of RAM onboard. While the second variant will feature a Snapdragon 821 processor paired an impressive 6GB of RAM.

According to Android Headlines, the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 smartphone will likely feature a 5.7-inch touchscreen that supports 2K display resolution. The device is also expected to sport a 13-megapixels primary shooter that is equipped with a dual camera at the back panel. Te smartphone's physical appearance is attractive and sleek. It resembles Samsung's Galaxy Note that has a curves design around its edges.

The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 smartphone is expected to be priced at around $450.
