Reeling squad Tianjin Teda FC finally snapped their 10-game winless slide after nipping struggling contenders Henan Jianye FC, 2-1, at their home field of Tianjin Olympic Center Stadium last Saturday.
Xinhuanet indicated that with the triumph, the Tianjin Tigers "achieve their first win in the recent 11 rounds".

The team last tasted victory in the China top flight games way back in June, a 1-0 home win over newly-promoted side Yanbian Funde, and since then the team has been on a downward spiral, losing six games and drawing on four others.
It was also the first win of new head coach Jaime Pacheco, who replaced sacked manager Dragan Okuka early last month, which came in his third game with the club.
Henan actually scored the opening goal of the contest with a brilliant individual goal from Swede forward Osman Sow at the fifth minute, as per Soccerway.
The visitors looked headed to a 1-0 advantage at the halftime break, but Colombian forward Fredy Montero successfully directed an assist by teammate Li Yuanyi towards the net of Henan goalkeeper Wu Yan to equalize the match a minute into the first half injury time.
It was a tight battle from then on as both sides intensified their defenses. However, the host team eventually found the game-winner with only a minute left before full time as Gabonese import Malick Evouna netted a one-on-one goal to snatch the three points away from the Red Devils.
It was a welcome win for the Tigers, who had climbed a spot higher in the overall standings as they are now at 13th place with 27 points. The team is now seven points above the bottom two relegation area currently occupied by Changchun Yatai and Shijiazhuang Ever Bright.
Meanwhile, the loss was the fourth in five matches for manager Jia Xiuquan's side, which kept them at the seventh spot of the league table with 31 points.
Tianjin is set to face second-running powerhouse Jiangsu Suning on the road this Saturday while Henan will clash with lowly Shandong Luneng also on Saturday as they try to bounce back from the loss.
