According to Xinhua, the two female paddlers were tied three-all going into the decisive set before Yang secured the victory at 11-8.
This was Zhu's very first loss to Yang in five meetings. The last time that she had beaten the South Korean was on November 2013 at the East Asian Games.
"I didn't make full preparation for this game," Zhu said after their match. "She (Yang) was much stable throughout the match, which helped her win the decisive game."
