Coolpad Max Smartphone Receive Huge Price Cut in India

Chinese smartphone maker has announced that its latest device - the Coolpad Max smartphone - has received a huge price cut in India. The smartphone was initially launched at Rs. 24,999 (approximately $373.34 / 2489.99 Yuan).
The Coolpad Max smartphone was launched in India last May. The device was announced in the region with a very high price tag. The company has slashed this price by Rs. 11,000 (around $164.28). The smartphone is now available in India for only Rs. 13,999 ($209.07).

This price cut of the Max smartphone is in line with the company's first-anniversary celebration in India. According to Coolpad, the company sold more than one million units of smartphones in the country last year. It is still unknown whether this price cut is permanent or temporary.
The Coolpad Max smartphone features a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) screen with 2.5D curved display protected by the fourth generation Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The device is powered by an octa-core 64 bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor clocked at a speed of 1.5 GHz, paired with a massive 4GB of RAM. For graphics, it has an Adreno 406 GPU onboard.
The Coolpad Max sports a 13-megapixels main camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel wide-angle front facing camera. It comes equipped with a built-in 64GB internal memory storage, which can be expanded up to 64GB via a microSD card slot.
