The Kehan CubeCam, based on a handful of reviews, is considered by many tech analysts as a decent wearable camera.  Ahead of its final release, Kehan has made a major upgrade to the CubeCam; making it capable of capturing videos in 1080p resolution.

Despite the upgrade to support 1080p resolution, its frame rate is still remarkably low at 15 frames per second. Tech experts would usually settle for at least a 30 frames per second refresh rate.

Some analysts commended have Kehan for making the effort tp improve the CubeCam's resolution, but some have pointed out that it is just a marketing stunt. Critics claim that at 15 frames per second, a captured video would be virtually unwatchable and would, on some occasion, induce nausea to some users.

Aside from the upgraded resolution, the rest of the Kehan CubeCam specs remain unchanged. The most noticeable feature of the camera is its miniature form factor which makes it very portable. The camera weights less than 25 grams. It has a f/2.5 aperture, 120-degree field of view, and a battery pack which Kehan claims can last up to 2.5 hours of shooting.

Although the CubeCam does not have any groundbreaking feature, the camera is still considered by many as a decent alternative for expensive wearable cameras on the market.

According to Giz China, the presale of the Kehan CubeCam will end on Sept. 30. The CubeCam currently costs $99.
