E-commerce website SOUQ has announced that BLU's latest device - the BLU VIVO 5R smartphone - is now available in the Middle East for the price of AED 559 (approximately $152.19 / Rs. 10,135.85 / 1015.19 Yuan).

For those who are not familiar with SOUQ, the website is one of the largest online retailing store and marketplace in the Middle East. According to a representative of SOUQ, the company has promised to provide innovative technologies to its valued customers in the region. BLU is one of the fastest growing mobile phone manufacturers in the world today, the company noted in a statement.

The BLU VIVO 5R smartphone features a 5.5-inch Full HD (1080 x 1920 pixel resolution) display screen with a beautiful curved glass panel on top. The device is powered by an octa-core MediaTek 6753 processor clocked at a speed of 1.3 GHz, which is paired with a 3 GB of RAM onboard. In addition, the smartphone is fueled by a large non-removable Li-Ion 3150 mAh capacity batter and equipped with a fast fingerprint sensor technology.

The BLU VIVO 5R runs on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system, with the company's customized user interface laid on top. The device sports a 13-megapixel rear facing camera and an 8-megapixel front shooter with LED Flash support. The device is comes equipped with a built-in 32GB internal memory storage, which can be expanded up to 64GB via a microSD card slot.

Connectivity options of the device include 3G, 4G, LTE, USB v2.0, Bluetooth v4.0, Wi-Fi, GPS with A-GPS. The smartphone is available in silver and gold color.
