South Korean auto manufacturer Hyundai unveiled the latest generation of the i30 hatchback at the Paris Motor Show.

The new 2017 Hyundai i30 is also being tagged as a Sport model, considering all the upgrades and tweaks Hyundai made.

According to Car Scoops, one of the most noticeable upgrades Hyundai made with the i30 is its new stylish body kit. However, its arrival does not appear so appealing to some, epsecially that certain rumors in the motoring world claimed that the car-maker will only be making upgradeson the aesthetics side of the car, instead of incorporating the much-needed improvements.

A still unconfimed render of the new 2017 Hyundai i30 was recently spotted on several motoring websites. It sports a race car-like livery, new set of body kit, black alloy wheels and dark plastic surround on the cars grille. Hyundai has yet to officially confirm whether that render belongs to the new Hyundai i30.

Speculations suggested that the i30 is fitted with a wide range of small-displacement turbocharged gas and diesel engines.

The two new engines make up the new 1.4 T-GDI turbocharged four cylinder engine with an output of 140PS. On the other hand, the 1.0 T-GDI turbocharged engine with three cylinders can produce an output of 120 PS. Finally, there is the 1.4 MPI four cylinder engine with an output of 100 PS.

Meanwhile, the 2017 Hyundai i3 hatchback diesel model is fitted with a 1.6-liter engine with three different power outputs, which is rated in three different variants: 95 PS, 110 PS, or 133 PS. All the engines are fitted with either a six-speed manual transmission gearbox or a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.
