A new set of leaked photographs recently surfaced and are currently making wave all over the tech community. Reports claim that the photographs belong to the still unnamed Xiaomi smartphone.
Based on the leak, the new Xiaomi phone will sport an octa-core processor and 3GB of memory.

Meanwhile, the leak provides some interesting tidbits of information on what to expect from the new phone. First it has an octa-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz.
While the exact model of the chipset was not mentioned, there are rumors saying that it might be a Helio P20 chipset from MediaTek, according to GSM Arena.
The leak, which first appeared on Chinese social networking platform Weibo, also confirmed that the mystery Xiaomi phone will have 3GB memory, 64GB storage space, runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Xiaomi's own MIUI 8 custom skin and supports VoLTE.
The design of the phone is pretty much a standard one. It has a lone physical button located on the lower front side which many suspect will incorporate a fingerprint sensor.
In the meantime, the leak provides that the anticipated new Xiaomi phone's main camera, unfortunately, does not sport a dual configuration, but it has a LED flash.
