New Huawei Nova Variant has Upgraded RAM

Huawei Officially Launches Nova and Nova Plus Smartphones at IFA 2016

(Photo : YouTube Screenshot) The Huawei Nova is priced at €399 (approximately $448.68), while the Nova Plus will cost around €429 (roughly $482.41).

Recent reports claim that Huawei is launching a newer version of the Nova smartphone which will already sport 4GB of memory, instead of just three.

It can be recalled that the Huawei Nova and its premium tiered counterpart, the Nova Plus, were officially launched at this year's IFA conference in Berlin, wherein the company confirmed that the two devices will sport 3GB of memory.

According to GSM Arena, the new Huawei Nova variant, which has a model number CAZ-AL10, will also support LTE-A provided that the user's carrier supports it. This new LTE technology has a theoretical maximum download speed of 300Mbps.

The new variant of the Huawei Nova and the Nova Plus will be available in two colors: black and white. This makes it easy to distinguish the devices from its predecessors which are available in gold, gray and silver.

Huawei has yet to confirm, though, whether the new model of the Nova and Nova Plus will come with more upgrades, aside from the memory bump.

Despite the unavailability of official price, some reports claim that the upgraded Nova is already being sold in several Asian markets.

Meanwhile, the new Huawei Nova is also expected to come with a 5-inch display with 1080 x 1920 resolution, Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset with an octa-core processor clocked at 2.0GHz, 32GB storage space which can be expanded up to 256GB using a microSD card, runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and has a 3020mAh battery pack.

It likewise boasts of a 12-megapixel rear camera, and an 8-megapixel front shooter for selfie.
