The visiting Portland Trail Blazer secured their third-straight win in the ongoing NBA Preseason Games after beating the Los Angeles Lakers with a 109-106 overtime victory at the Staples Center on Tuesday night.

According to ESPN, starting point guard Damian Lillard poured in a game-high 30 points including six three-pointers during the game to lead the Trail Blazers and keep their preseason record unblemished. Lillard went 10 for 17 from the field and made a perfect 4 for 4 from the foul line while playing for 27 minutes on the hardwood.

Small forward Maurice Harkless contributed 14 markers, seven rebounds, and three blocked shots coming off the bench while big men Mason Plumlee and Meyers Leonard chipped in 11 points each for the winners.

Jordan Clarkson paced the Lakers with 15 points while shooting 6 for 14 from the field. Nick Young and Julius Randle chipped in 14 and 13 points respectively. Chinese basketball superstar Yi Jianlian also had his moments in the hardcourt after scoring four points and grabbing four rebounds in the 13:08 minutes of playing time.

The Blazers outrebounded and outplayed the Lakers after dominating the boards with 54-46 and dishing out a team-combined 23 assists compared to the host team's 19.

The Lakers entered the final period of the game trailing by a single points 79-80 but they managed to stage a 20-19 run in the fourth quarter and send the game into overtime with the scoreboard at 99-all.

In the extra five minutes after the regulation period, Portland launched a 10-7 run to wrap up the game with a victory.
