Ardent "Half Life" fans have been on the lookout even for the slightest hint of the game's existence. In fact, "Half Life 3" is still one of the most anticipated sequels the gaming community has been waiting for. That is, despite the fact that Valve has never issued any official statement about the game.

Recently, keen-eyed members of the Steam Community have discovered a string of codes that might have something to do with "Half Life." The code was hidden deep in the latest update of "Dota 2."

According to those who were able to get their hands on the code, it alludes to something like HLVR, an enigmatic string of letters that many fans believe mean "Half Life VR."

A closer inspection of the code reportedly revealed that it is a process in the event of a shattering glass with the following line: "used to force the HLVR player to speak."

Another interesting tidbit of hint was recently picked up in an update for Steam VR app "Destinations." Once again, a code that references HLVR was added and will be triggered with things that are connected to ammo clips, according to Express.

The so-called "Half Live VR" project has been in the rumor mill since last year. Valve has continually referenced to HLVR into some updates for games that have nothing to do with the "Half Life" franchise leading some fans to believe that the company may just be toying with them.
