Sony has already addressed the tracking problems which consumers complained of about its PlayStation VR.
One of the most well-known problems faced by several PlayStation VR owners is its tracking feature. Some owners claim that sometimes it breaks the virtual reality render, while others say they feel nauseous. Recently, Sony addressed the problem claiming that it has something to do with room lighting and reflective surfaces.

Several reviews of the PlayStation VR have pointed out the unreliable positional tracking of the virtual reality headset, an important aspect in terms of properly rendering a virtual reality world.
While some users are able to find a clever workaround to fix the issue, some are stuck with it and still waiting for Sony to address it.
One known workaround is to situate the PlayStation VR in a dark room without any mirrors or any reflective surfaces. In response, Sony confirmed that this workaround is accurate and can actually fix the issue.
In a blog post, as shared by Venture Beat, Sony said, "Bright light sources directly behind the person using PS VR, lights coming in from windows and room lights, and lights reflecting off mirrors can interfere with the PS Camera and interrupt the tracking of the LED lights on the headset."
This means that to avoid tracking problems, users are also advised to move lamps or any source of light behind the PSVR headset. Sony also recommends closing window shades to keep any light source from interfering with the virtual reality headset's tracking sensors.
While these workaround and tips are effective, many PlayStation VR owners are urging Sony to fix this issue on its hardware in order to avoid any inconvenience on the customer's side.
