The Houston Rockets defeated the New Orleans Pelicans for the second time at the NBA Global Games China Tour with a 116-104 victory in Beijing on Wednesday evening.

James Harden had another impressive game performance after pouring in 14 points and dishing out eight assists to lead the Leslie Alexander-owned basketball club to its fourth straight victory in the preseason, according to the league's official website.

The four-time NBA All-Star also had a striking double-double game production in their initial game in Shanghai, where Harden finished the match with 26 points and 15 assists.

"I feel very comfortable (as the point guard)," the 27-year-old veteran guard said. "My role as the leader does not change and I just try to make the right play."

"In the first half, we were very focused on what we lacked in previous games," Harden added. "Every game is an opportunity for the team to get better."

Controversial Bobby Brown, who was heavily criticized online for vandalizing on the country's iconic landmark The Great Wall of China, scored a team-high 18 points, including three three-pointers in 16:37 minutes of playing time, while Kyle Wiltjer and Sam Dekker chipped in with 15 points and 14 points respectively for the winners.

The Rockets built a comfortable 17-point lead after the opening period and never relinquished it. However, the Pelicans managed to narrow the gap to just eight points in the final quarter, but it was not enough to steal the game.

According to China.org, New Orleans played most of the game without the team's star player Anthony Davis, who suffered from an ankle injury during the first quarter of the match.

The 23-year-old Davis fell on the floor holding his ankle after appearing to trip while attempting to drive to the basket against Houston's big man Nene. The two-time NBA leading rim protector only played for less than seven minutes, scoring two points.
